Marlow by Alexandre Tabaste
Marlow, Monaco
5 Place Princesse Gabriella, 98000 Monaco
At the heart of Mareterra, Monaco’s new seaside district, Marlow feels effortlessly sophisticated, a mix of British charm and Riviera ease. Designed by Hugo Toro, the space is warm and playful: marble, wood, and soft light around a grand central bar. It’s chic but never stiff, the kind of place where you can have a quiet breakfast, a champagne brunch, or stay late for cocktails as the sun disappears over the sea. The menu nods to London with lobster rolls, truffle fish & chips, and a perfect beef Wellington, but always with a Mediterranean touch.

Le Couvent
Le Couvent, Nice
1 Rue Honoré Ugo, 06300 Nice, France
In the maze of Vieux-Nice, behind a discreet stone doorway, lies a world of quiet beauty. The Hôtel du Couvent is set in a 17th-century convent surrounded by olive and citrus trees, a secret garden that feels suspended in time. The restoration is stunning, raw stone, soft plaster, and natural light in every corner. You can spend mornings swimming laps in the outdoor pool, then wander barefoot through the gardens, or lose an afternoon reading under a fig tree. Inside, Festen Studio’s design brings calm elegance without excess, everything feels natural, tactile, and peaceful. It’s the kind of place that slows your heartbeat, reminding you what stillness feels like.

Les Roches Rouges
Les Roches Rouges, Saint-Raphael
90 Bd de la 36ᵉ Division du Texas, 83700 Saint-Raphaël, France
Perched between the red cliffs of the Estérel and the endless blue of the Mediterranean, Les Roches Rouges feels like the purest form of Riviera living. The design is simple and modernist, white walls, clean lines, and wide windows that let in sea light from dawn to dusk. The rooms open to the horizon, and the sound of the waves feels like part of the architecture. Days here are slow and sun-filled: breakfast by the water, swims in the saltwater pool, cocktails at sunset. Everything is understated but beautiful, and you leave feeling like you’ve stayed somewhere that understands the rhythm of the South perfectly.

Il Grande
Il Grande, Cannes
Palm Beach, Place Franklin Roosevelt, 06400 Cannes, France.
Under the dome of Palm Beach Cannes, Il Grande brings a touch of Italian glamour to the Riviera. Designed by Hugo Toro, it’s bold and cinematic, red marble floors, Murano chandeliers, and soft golden light that makes everything feel like a movie set from the 1960s. The atmosphere is pure dolce vita: elegant, indulgent, and a little bit theatrical. The menu is classic Italian done with flair, rich pastas, seafood, and perfect spritzes that make dinner stretch well into the night. It’s the kind of place you dress up for, even if only slightly, because it deserves it.

Le Deck
Le Deck, Monaco
Monte-Carlo Beach, Avenue Princesse Grace, 06190 Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France.
Le Deck is where you go when you want the Riviera to feel easy. Set at Monte-Carlo Beach, it stretches out around a mirror-still Olympic pool with views of the sea and palm trees swaying just beyond. The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, bright white tables, blue water, and a menu that celebrates the Mediterranean in its simplest, freshest form. Think grilled fish, oysters, or pasta shared with friends under the sun. The space has been redesigned by Dorothée Delaye, who gave it a soft, modern touch without losing its retro soul. It’s chic and summery, the perfect long lunch spot where hours slip by almost unnoticed.
